I'll admit that the winter season is not my favorite (I'm a summer kind of gal) but with some warm cozy drinks in hand, it becomes easy to enjoy it! Lately I've been loving using curcumin to make warm dishes. Something about the cold just draws me to it, which is a good thing considering just how many health benefits it contains. Especially when I feel a cold coming on, curcumin is my go-to super booster. It's anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and helps to improve digestion. Some research even says it acts as an anti-depressant so it can be the perfect thing for the winter blues.

Summer Asian Salad

Oh my, do I love cold salads during the summer. And especially the ones that taste more than your basic salad with lettuce & veggies, which leave you hungry again not long after. I came up with this recipe by accident when playing around with different ingredients, just flowing through a cooking session without a set agenda. It's similar to an asian salad but done in a healthy, plant-based version.
